From a well-run medium-sized commercial enterprise to a recognised best-practice example in branding.

How CORE came about

A comprehensive analysis of the company and the development of common goals were the basis for a courageous step into the future. Technical innovations, values such as responsibility, trust and safety, and creative ideas shape the future of the company. The inclusion of the employees' concept of working life should make FILL one of the most attractive employers for the best talents.
In order to map these aspects in a tool that is freely accessible to everyone involved, CORE smartwork was founded as a subsidiary and the CORE software application was developed.

The result

Today, FILL is a leading international machine engineering company with subsidiaries in China, Mexico and the USA. With complex high-tech systems and individual solutions for the manufacturing industry, FILL makes its customers the best in their industry. The automotive, aerospace, sports and construction industries all benefit from FILL's expertise.

Enormous innovative strength, value orientation and the best jobs distinguish the company, which is 100 percent family-owned. Since Andreas Fill took over in 2000, the number of employees, then 200, has increased fivefold to 1,000.

Reduces emails

With the introduction of CORE in 2012, a digital door was opened at FILL. The transparent communication tool, which is accessible to all employees, has reduced the number of internal mails sent by over 50%. An "email to everyone" has since become obsolete at FILL.

Saves time

Employee surveys on organisational topics or events are created with a few mouse clicks and provide clear results. Quick, simple and time-saving.

Improves the flow of information

Content on all company-relevant topics can be found in the knowledge management system. If there are still open questions, defined FILL experts provide first-hand support to their colleagues.

Employees are more satisfied

The transparent, open communication is perceived by the employees as a great appreciation of their person and work. Over 85 per cent would recommend FILL as an employer to their friends. This is confirmed by the continuously increasing number of applications, which has tripled since 2012.

For years, CORE has improved the collaboration of the FILL team in all areas of the company.

Creative ideas

Since the introduction of idea management, over 5,000 ideas have been submitted to FILL. With new suggestions and impulses, the employees strengthen their company and are the motor for a great future.

FILL users worldwide

From future, active, inactive, on leave and also external employees to the "Golden FILL Surfers" in retirement, 1,246 FILL users worldwide meet on a common platform and communicate in two of twelve possible languages.
